President and COO of Career Development Partners

Bruce Riggs serves as the president and COO of Career Development Partners and president of The Sales Coaching Group™.  Bruce is a trained executive with 3 decades and 60,000 hours of real-world experience serving start-ups and Fortune 100 companies.  He works with executive level (C-Suite) and emerging leaders.

Bruce completed post-academic work in Management Leadership Research at the renowned Tepper School of Business.  (Carnegie Mellon University) and completed an MBA in 1996.

He has a diverse and highly successful background working with start-up, mid-size, and Fortune 100 companies.  He brings a unique perspective to clients throughout the United States.  He teaches leaders how to grow and thrive in environments in which people can operate at their best.

Riggs innovative views has earned him invitations to speak with an array of leaders including corporate, entrepreneurs, military and government organizations.

Early in Bruce’s career, He established a foundation while serving in the United States Air Force. The Air Force defined the benefits of education, discipline and hard work. He was selected as an “Airman of the Year” nominee in 1987.

His academic qualifications include a BS in Business from The University of the State of New York, a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University, an Advanced MBA Certification from the Freeman School of Business (Tulane University), and post academic work at the Tepper School of Business (Carnegie Mellon University) in Management Leadership Research.

He served companies in the Orthopedic, Neurology, and Cardiovascular markets and was twice selected “Salesman of the Year” for a Fortune 100 company. He later was recruited to Medrad Inc., a subsidiary of Bayer Healthcare. While at Bayer, he served as the North American Sales Manager for a fast growing strategic business unit. The SBU consistently met and exceeded growth expectations.  He was selected by his peers as the “most valuable player” in 2006.

Bruce’s teaching experience is well documented; as a senior adjunct professor for nearly two decades.  Bruce has published 7 books including the popular series, I Didn’t Sign Up …(4 books), and Mediocrity the Monster Within published in 2017.

Bruce founded The Sales Coaching Group™ and PerformOne Training Group™ located in Tulsa, OK.  In 2017, he joined Career Development Partners™.
