Tom Wilkerson

Account Manager

Tom comes to Career Development Partners with a combination of engineering and recruiting experience. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has many years of “Real World” engineering experience. Tom also has over seven years of technical recruiting experience with two different nationally recognized recruiting organizations. He was honored with Rookie of the Year his first year in the industry and has gone on to win numerous national and local awards. More recently, he has recruited more of a general nature across several industries.

Tom is married and has five sons and one grandson.  Two sons live in Wisconsin and three live in the Tulsa area. One of his sons is serving our country in the military. He is an avid golfer and is active in his church.

I am honest and treat everyone with respect and dignity.  I seek to build strong relationships characterized by frankness, mutual trust, and professional respect.” In 2006 Tom passed a certification exam that set him apart  from the other recruiters in his organization by completing a rigorous test including business ethics and legal proficiency. This certification is proof positive that he is committed to excellence and continuous professional development. He is a consummate professional who delivers the highest quality of customer service.

For Our Candidates: Tom treats his candidates with the same respect and dignity. He will only present them to companies that he highly respects. “If I wouldn’t want to work there or recommend family members to work there, then why would I try to encourage a candidate to work there?” It’s not about the placement or the money… it’s about doing what’s right. Tom desires that candidates reach their goals and career objectives when they move to that next position.
