A Picture that Speaks a Message to its Viewers

This past Christmas we invited Richard Hight to our Christmas Party as our speaker and entertainment. Richard travels the world giving messages to his audiences through his gift of communicating through art. He tells his story of how others have impacted his life and his talent by encouraging him to use the gifts God endowed him from early childhood. We were not certain what drawing he would produce live right before our eyes and were pleasantly surprised. Richard did a chalk drawing, on a bed sheet he purchased at Walmart, of a Shepherd caring for his sheep. He said he saw us as caregivers for those that have been entrusted to our care and that God can take a simple thing and make it extraordinary by bringing out the gifts we each have to impact others.

Bruce Riggs our COO has been coaching our staff over the past few years on the nobility of what we do at Career Development Partners. Every person and company needs to know their “noble purpose”. Bruce defines our purpose for our staff as “a statement about how you make a difference in the lives of other people. It speaks to why you are in existence in the first place”.

We would encourage others to consider contacting Richard Hight at www.visualmpact.com for more information. We are thankful to Carpertree for the beautiful framing they did to preserve and display the picture that has been placed in our lobby.  Please feel free to come by our office and view the picture and let it speak into your life.
